KIU Celebrates 46 Students Selected for the Prestigious Class of 2026 Millennium Fellowship

KIU, Main Campus - Kampala International University (KIU) is proud to announce that 46 outstanding students from the Main Campus and Western Campus have been selected for the Class of 2026 Millennium Fellowship, a global leadership development program presented by the United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI) and the Millennium Campus Network (MCN).

This milestone follows KIU’s strong performance in the 2025 Millennium Fellowship cycle, where KIU students also earned recognition for their commitment to social impact, innovation, and community transformation. The back‑to‑back selection of KIU cohorts demonstrates the university’s growing reputation as a hub for emerging leaders dedicated to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The Millennium Fellowship is a semester‑long leadership program that empowers students to design and implement social impact projects that address pressing community challenges. Since its inception in 2013, the Fellowship has grown into a global movement of more than 15,000 alumni across 48 nations, demonstrating its far‑reaching influence and commitment to shaping ethical, innovative, and socially conscious leaders.
