KIU Launches International Summer School in Partnership with Utrecht University and Junior Achievement Uganda

KIU, Western Campus - Kampala International University (KIU) presents an exciting new initiative: The International Summer School, a collaborative program with Utrecht University (The Netherlands) and Junior Achievement Uganda (JAU). Under the theme “Bridging Continents: African-European Youths Collaborating for a Diverse and Digital Future,” the program aims to foster cross-cultural dialogue, youth empowerment, and digital innovation.
Running from October 31 to November 9, 2025, the Summer School will take place across KIU’s Main and Western Campuses. It promises to be a transformative experience for students passionate about entrepreneurship, leadership, and intercultural learning.
What Participants Can Expect
Selected students will engage in:
- Interactive workshops on digital innovation, entrepreneurship, and global leadership
- Team challenges and co-creation sessions with Dutch peers
- Cultural nights, excursions, and opportunities to build lifelong friendships
- Exchange opportunities to Europe
- Certificates for active participation

Application Details
Interested students must submit:
- A letter of motivation (50–100 words)
- A registration fee of UGX 250,000 (only payable by selected applicants)
- Applications must be submitted by September 30, 2025
Eligible applicants include:
- KIU undergraduate and postgraduate students
- Students with a keen interest in entrepreneurship, leadership, and intercultural learning
