KIU Main Campus – Charlotte Atuheire, one of the law school candidates set to graduate at Kampala International University’s 31st graduation ceremony, says she’s ready to showcase her legal knowledge to the world.

She describes her journey through law school as a marathon filled with growth and determination.

“The experience of a law student at KIU is a blend of rigorous academics, practical training, and personal growth, all culminating in the eagerly awaited graduation,” Atuheire said.

“Life as a law student at KIU is characterized by intense study and a demanding curriculum,” she added.

Atuheire praised the university administration for recruiting highly qualified lecturers and ensuring students remained engaged through seminars and tutorials.

“Lectures, tutorials, and seminars are designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in the legal field,” she said.

“We would often find ourselves immersed in case studies, legal research, and moot court competitions, which simulate real-world legal scenarios. This practical approach helped us develop critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and persuasive communication skills.”

She noted that the upcoming graduation ceremony is not only a conclusion to an enriching academic experience but also a gateway to her professional journey.

“It’s a moment of pride, accomplishment, and excitement. As a graduate, I prepare to make my mark on the legal landscape,” she said.

She closed with a nod to her alma mater’s motto: “For God and My Country, Exploring the Heights.”
