My journey at Kampala International University (KIU), Western Campus was truly transformative. As a Diploma in Pharmacy student, I spent three incredible years growing, learning, and thriving in a community that fostered innovation, leadership, and growth.

Before joining KIU, I was drawn to its reputation as a top private university in Uganda, renowned for its well-equipped laboratories and hands-on approach to learning. A friend's positive experience with the friendly management and staff also gave me confidence in the university's support system.

During my time at KIU, I was actively engaged in student leadership, serving as Vice President of the Pharmacy Students' Association and the Basoga Students Association. These roles taught me valuable leadership skills, helped me build lasting relationships, and allowed me to contribute to the growth and development of my peers.

KIU's emphasis on practical skills, research, and community service equipped me with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to excel in pharmacy. I am proud to be part of the KIU family and grateful for the tireless efforts of the top management, School of Pharmacy administrators, and lecturers who shaped us into competent professionals. Their guidance, mentorship, and support were invaluable.

I am also thankful to my fellow pharmacy students who made my KIU experience unforgettable. Through leadership roles, I learned the importance of teamwork, effective communication, and problem-solving. Representing my peers and advocating for their needs instilled in me a sense of responsibility and accountability.

My time at KIU has transformed me into a confident and compassionate individual, ready to make a positive impact in the healthcare sector and beyond. I am excited to apply my skills and knowledge to drive meaningful change.
