By: Rahma Ali – Bachelor of Social Work and Social Administration
Main Campus: From 2023 to 2026, my academic journey at Kampala International University (KIU) has been marked by determination, personal growth and a strong commitment to achieving my dreams.
Motivated by the desire to build a brighter future, I joined KIU to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for my personal and professional development. I describe my university experience as transformative, because it gave me more than academic knowledge.
My experience at KIU has been a journey of learning, growth and self-discovery. The university has helped me develop important life skills, build confidence and broaden my perspective.
On Saturday, 21st November 2026, I will join thousands of graduands at KIU’s 34th Graduation Ceremony, where I will graduate with a degree in Social Work and Social Administration.
Looking ahead, I hope to apply my knowledge and skills to make a meaningful contribution to society while pursuing professional growth.
To continuing students, my message is this: never give up, even when the journey becomes difficult. Stay focused on your goals, believe in yourself and keep moving forward.
My journey is proof that perseverance and determination can turn dreams into reality.
