#KIU34thGrad: Opportunity Comes Once, Choose Your Path

By; Lul Dokhot Puoch - Master of Public Health

I chose Kampala International University (KIU) because it is a place that builds knowledge and celebrates the diversity of the world. As a Master of Public Health student, I wanted to learn alongside people from different backgrounds and cultures, and KIU gave me exactly that.

Living and learning in such diversity gave me a deep sense of equality in everything we do and, in the work, ahead. KIU does not only aim high; it lays the foundation of a new world, and that idea has shaped how I see my future. That lesson will stay with me long after graduation.

Now I am ready to take the knowledge I have gained back to my society and put it to work for the people around me. I hope to do it differently, bringing fresh thinking and a lasting effect to the communities I serve. Public health is about people, and I am determined to serve them well.

To the students still on this road: opportunities come once, but by choosing KIU, you will discover your path. Take that chance, and make it count. Be bold and trust yourself. The journey is yours to shape.
