"I was inspired to study Commercial Law at KIU because of my long-standing interest in academia, legal research, and community development," Abdullahi said.

Throughout her time at KIU, Abdullahi established herself as a dedicated student and community leader. She founded a community-based Quran memorization centre, providing a platform for youth to learn and grow. Her commitment to community service and leadership was further demonstrated through her involvement in community outreach initiatives and voluntary work with vulnerable populations.

Abdullahi's fondest moment at KIU was completing her Master's degree with outstanding academic performance, a testament to her unwavering commitment to academic excellence. "I am most proud of completing my Master’s degree with outstanding academic performance," she said.

The KIU experience had a profound impact on Abdullahi’s personal and professional growth, strengthening her academic confidence, research skills, and passion for lecturing and community service. "KIU shaped my growth by strengthening my academic confidence, deepening my research skills, and reinforcing my passion for lecturing, leadership, and community service," she noted.

As she embarks on her next journey, Abdullahi plans to pursue a career in academia, contributing to legal education and research. "In the short term, I plan to begin my academic career as a lecturer, contribute to legal education through teaching and research, and support the next generation of students," she said.

Abdullahi’s message to continuing students is one of encouragement and inspiration. "Stay committed, embrace challenges, and use the resources around you to grow academically and personally – your journey here has the power to shape your future and community."

As KIU celebrates 25 years of transforming lives, Abdullahi expresses her gratitude to the university, faculty, and administration. "KIU’s legacy continues to transform lives through education, opportunity, and service. I congratulate the leadership, staff, and alumni and encourage collective commitment to shaping ethical, knowledgeable, and community-oriented graduates," she highlighted.
