KIU, MAIN CAMPUS - In August 2022, I embarked on my undergraduate journey at Kampala International University (KIU), enrolling in the Bachelor of Science in Industrial Chemistry program. As luck would have it, the university's Directorate of Research, Innovations, Consultancy, and Extension presented me with an opportunity to pursue a fully funded international certificate in Chinese Language and Skills training.

This enriching four-month program at Chongqing Chemical Industry Vocational College in China not only deepened my understanding of the Chinese language and its cultural significance but also enhanced my employability through practical skills in business communication. 
I faced challenges during this training, such as adapting to a new cultural environment and mastering a complex language. However, these obstacles only fuelled my determination to succeed.

As I wind up my final semester, I am grateful for this incredible opportunity. This certificate is more than just a piece of paper; it is a testament to KIU's commitment to its students' success. The unique skill set I have acquired will undoubtedly set me apart in the competitive job market and pave the way for a rewarding career in Industrial Chemistry with an international edge.
